Memorials

Taylor's funeral service was Tuesday morning. Extra seats were added in the sanctuary as every pew was full, the balcony was packed, and an extra side room was full with a television screen telecasting the service. Some stood throughout the whole service. You can read more about it by clicking here.
This is one of the many poster-sized pictures that were displayed at the service on Tuesday.

Mike and I stopped by and visited with his parents on Thursday evening. We visited with Kelly and Lisa to offer our condolences and to borrow the picture. Baseball registration was scheduled for our park on Friday night. Since Taylor was from Sylvan Hills and since his parents requested memorials be made to SH, we thought it would be nice to afford anyone an opportunity to make a donation. People were good to donate. Nice people. People that never even knew Taylor. It was a good night.

This picture was also displayed.
Click Here to read about how the Henderson State baseball team honored Taylor's memory today...for what would have been Taylor's first start of his college career. Continue to pray for the Roark's. Lisa was sick when we visited. Pray for healing but more importantly comfort.

Taylor Roark

For Taylor's Obituary Click Here.
How many more friends will this group of kids have to lose?

NO....NOT ANOTHER ONE!!

Yeah, another one.

Taylor Roark

A friend of Kody's. A high school classmate. A teammate.

Pray for Taylor's Mom and Dad, Kelly and Lisa.

He was an only child.

So unbelievably sad.

Seatbelts.

Kody's been through so much of this already.

Yet another one.....

The newspaper article was a misquote. This was not the first time a reporter has taken something out of context, and I’m sure it won’t be the last. This site was setup so that Shannon and our family and friends could keep up with what’s going on with the Sanders family..not for someone to come on here and throw stones. This site was a great comfort to the McCoy family during a very difficult time and we would like to keep it positive. ALWAYS…

And by the way....I have yet to make it all the way through.
I've made it to the pink bridge thing...you'll see.

Roundball

Carson loves basketball. It's not my favorite sport...I like baseball and football better. No game this weekend. This is from last weekend when our guys got pounded by some big ol' girl who played them rough on the inside. She was a head taller than anybody out there and certainly outweighed them. And she used her size to her advantage!

Is that my kid on the bench?

Momma will just have to talk to the coach about that now won't she?

I hate those red eyes! I'd be dangerous if I really knew how to take pictures!

Is he griping again? Kody and Mike the Spike.

Glad he wore his glasses to this game...not that they did him any good?

It was a rough game.
Wore out after that game.
