Carson got braces on his top teeth last week (I'm a little behind on posting about it). Mike took him for the morning appointment and took this picture with his phone. The torturous application of braces. I love camera phones, don't you?
He still has this...the upper expander.
The afternoon appointment entailed placing an expander on his lower teeth. Underneath the tongue behind his front teeth. It's been a week and I think he is just now getting use to it. He certainly has a mouth full of metal.

Shannon, It's great that Carson started his teeth alignment procedure at such an early age. It would be beneficial since corrections are easier done on this age.
Most dental website marketing various treatments advise a consultation prior to the actual procedure. During such, considerations like age and current status of teeth is assessed to ensure the success of any treatment.
