Ride Along

Kody has shown an interest as of late to become a law enforcement officer.

I'm glad.

And I'm not.

I'm glad that he's thinking in terms of a 'career'. He needs to. It's time.

I'm not becasue of the obvious.

Law enforcement is just dangerous.

Friday night he went on a ride along with one of the Sherwood Police Department's finest. He rode along with Officer Ryan Baker. The officer Ryan Baker that is mentioned in the above video. We've come to know Ryan through the ball park. He's one of our umpires. He is the sweetest thing. Really soft spoken, has a sweet disposition. Just a really nice guy. Mike talked with him the other day about ball park business and they began to converse about this policing business and Kody. He said he'd take Kody and Mike mentioned that he was also interested. In the ride along, that is.

Kody rode with him Friday night.

He loved it.

He called us every once in a while to let us know what was going on. Mike and I both were really anxious to hear about it all.

Be praying for Kody.

That this is the right decision as far as a career path. Pray he does well on any testing that he will have to go through.

He'd be good at it.

I just know he would.
