Cabot Invitational

Saturday was the beginning of competition for The NPHS Falcon Band.
Cabot High School...Cabot Invitational.
Congratulations on THE BEST scores!
Allison getting ready in the pit.
Here they come
A band grandmother made these flags.
As soon as I sat down someone put one in my hands and I was immediately asked where they were made by someone from some other school. Seriously...like I would tell you?
Everybody wants to be like the Falcons...who can blame them?
Thanks Grandma. They are BEAUTIFUL.
Allison

Ms. D.

YEEEAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
GO FALCONS!

Chase is SO serious!
Mike and Carson. It was BLAZING hot!
That's Becky in the black shirt in front of Mike.

On the jumbo-tron
Chase behind the tuba.
Chase on the left shoulder of the drum major.
Look at that sweet Allison.
She's actually a color guard (back in my day it was known as flag line) but she hurt her foot and is now in pit where she doesn't have to move much.

This is the 'visual' that they add into the performance and it is way cool!

She plays several different things.
The first is this symbol (is that the right terminology?)
I am so not wise in the ways of band...but I'm learning!

Tambourine.

Under the watchful eyes of Ms.D, Ms. Abbott and Ms. Koehler.

Chase behind Allison...and what is THAT thing she's playing?

Chase over her left shoulder.
Over her shoulder again.
Chase to the right.

Their ending pose. I love Chase and Alex's (the girl next to him).
You can click on it to see it larger.
He was so sun burnt.
Our band t-shirts.
