High Steppin It

Carson had his first football game of the season Saturday.
Gold Twisters
Pre-game warm up.
He plays at Sylvan Hills High School at the Bill Blackwood Stadium. Man, have we had some good times at that stadium. Do I ever miss that. BUT...there's many more to come.
Not too terribly focused at kick-off. Looking at the cheerleaders....already?
Kick-off return(middle of the picture). Not sure that he'll ever get to return one. These kids can't kick it far enough to get it to him.
OK....so here he is doin a little 'high steppin'. You can't really tell it by the picture-but HE WAS! This was after his teammate scored a touchdown.

This is Carson. This is Carson in the endzone. This is Carson after he scored his very first touchdown. This is Carson after he got his very first penalty.....for high-steppin it...AS he's making his touchdown. This is Carson hot-doggin it. You go boy!
Much needed rest at half time. It was brutally hot.
The hot dog.
The hot dog's dad. A former hot dog. The new offensive coordinator of the Gold Twisters.
Mike with our friends Chip and Tammy. My that's a big ummm....lens you have Tammy. She takes pictures and sells them to parents. I think she got some better ones of Carson. Although, I can't afford her. She told me I could come clean her house and work it off. I don't clean my own! Mike and Chip will be coaching together next year. THAT'LL BE FUN! All you Twisters just wait till next year!
The Dad...the offensive coordinator. Notice the little girl in the picture. Carson's former girlfriend. She was in his class last year. We let his hair grow out for a while and he decided he wanted to cut it and go back to a short cut. He told us when he got it cut that she only liked him for his hair and that she would break up with him. He went to school the next day. I asked if Mrs. Gray (his teacher) liked his hair. Yes. Did everyone else like it? HEIDI BROKE UP WITH ME! I TOLD YOU!
One more of the high-steppin.
Video of Carson trying to catch a pass. He didn't catch it and somehow ended up kicking it.
